Hello & Welcome!!
Im Angie Zimmerman, your NBC Elementary PTO President for the 2011-2012 school year. I would like to take this opportunity to tell you more about our PTO. The PTO consists mainly of elementary faculty, administration, parents, and guardians that help to fund, plan, prepare, and volunteer for various events and activities that are held throughout the school year. The PTOs main goal is to establish a close relationship between home and school by offering opportunities for all of the parents to become involved.
Some of the activities and expenses that we are going to have this upcoming year include:
Field Trips $2,950
Winter Movie Treat $300
Spring Book Fair Expenses $400
Yearbook Expenses $2,000
Read Across America Week a free book for each child
Reading Competition $100
100th Day of School Memorabilia $225
Mishler Theater Trips for all grades $4,000
Carnegie Science Center $1,800
Hoop Shoot Trophies $250
Bowling Trophies $150
Ribbons for Track and Field $550
Scholastic Achievement Ribbons given to the students $500
5th Grade Celebration & Memory Books $800
These and many other contributions to your childs education continue each year because of your dedication and support during our fall fundraiser.
