WHAT COULD A TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE FOR

ME AT AFTER 3?

Each afternoon After 3 participants will have an afternoon snack and drinks before moving into the days activities. Depending on your interests, your grade level and the staff that day, those activities may include

shooting a video or being a peer tutor, or learning to throw clay pots or becoming a gourmet cook. Another day you may be part of a chess tournament or practice for

a one-act play competition. Each day you and other students will be divided into groups and rotate from one

activity to the next in 45 or 90 minute periods - or you may stay in the open computer lab for most of the 3 hours to work on special projects, take a special distance learning course or early college class. Every day there will be recreation, homework and academic help and one or

more special activities. At 6 youll be bused home - just like you would at the end of the regular school

day. To participate, youll need to enroll with your After 3 coordinator and sign up to attend for that day.
