2011 National BLue Ribbon School logo

2011 National Blue Ribbon School seal
The US Department of Education announced that Northern Bedford Elementary is a 2011 National Blue Ribbon School.  Receiving this distinction is one of the highest honors schools in American can receive for academic achievement.  This award was based on the overall academic excellence shown from the students, teachers and staff from the during the school years 2004-2011.
