    Welcome to t
    he Bedford Coun
    ty Tax Collection Commission

Under a new law Act 32, Pennsylvania’s system for collecting local earned income tax will be streamlined down to 69 new countywide tax collection districts.

Starting January 1, 2012, all Pennsylvania employers (excluding those in Philadelphia) must withhold the local earned income tax “Wage Tax” as part of their payroll obligations.

Employers are required to file a new quarterly return and remit the amount of tax withheld during the preceding period with the new countywide collector.

The Bedford County Tax Collection Committee selected Keystone Collections Group to serve as their District’s new countywide tax collector.

Chestnut Ridge Area School District opted to do an early implementation date of January 1, 2011 and remittance to Keystone Collections Group begins immediately.  Please see the table below for where and who will be receiving employer quarterly returns.
