Celebrate Red Ribbon Week – The annual celebration of Red Ribbon Week is for communities and students across America to commit themselves to living drug-free lives. Red Ribbon Week is the oldest and most far-reaching drug prevention awareness program in our nation. RRW was founded in 1988 in honor of Drug Enforcement Special Agent Enrique “Kiki” Camarena.
Northern Bedford High School’s Chapter of Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) invites you to join them in supporting RRW by encouraging your participation in the planned drug-free prevention and education events.
SADD will conduct the Be Paws-itive Drive this week to benefit the Bedford County Humane Society. They chose this project to help our “furry” friends who are always there for us in good times and in times when we need comfort. Let’s be there for them this week. A collection of animal items (food, treats, leashes, …) and/or your spare change will take place on Wednesday. All donations will be given to the Bedford County Humane Society.
