Welcome to Building Construction Occupations.  Building Construction is a course designed to introduce you to the various careers available in the building industry.  Upon completion of this course you will be able to obtain an entry level position in the building industry or further your education by attending college.  You will study and perform skills such as house layout, masonry, rough framing, roofing, electricity, plumbing' finish carpentry, cabinetmaking, and blueprint reading.  These skills will be learned through classroom work, hands on instruction, individual projects, class projects around the school, and field trips.  You will develop a sense of pride that all quality trades people have and learn to work with other people while solving problems.
