Special Education Teacher Middle/High School

Northern Bedford County School District has an opening for a middle/high school special education teacher.  

All applicants must submit:

  • Cover Letter
  • Resume
  • Standard Teaching Application
  • Current Federal FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114)
  • State Criminal History (Act 34)
  • Arrest/Conviction Report and Certification Form (Act 24)
  • Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
  • Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Form (Act 168 of 2014)
  • Valid PA Teaching Certification
  • Copy of College Transcripts
  • PRAXIS Scores
  • Three Letters of Reference
  • A one to two minute video introducing yourself and explaining why you would be a good candidate for the position available. Videos can be emailed to spressel@nbcsd.org with your name, and the position of which you are applying.  Video can also be delivered or mailed with your completed application materials.
