Middle School PRIDE Team Last Updated: 8/8/2021 12:44 AM

PBIS is a Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports system that recognizes student behaviors identified as those leading to student success.  Creating a school-wide PBIS system fosters a positive learning environment for all students and staff.

NBC students can earn PRIDE tickets by meeting posted expectations in the classroom, in the cafeteria, in common areas, during extracurricular activities, and on the bus.  PRIDE tickets can be awarded by any staff member!

We encourage our students to demonstrate the following Panther PRIDE characteristics.

POSITIVE – polite and using manners

RESPECTFUL – kind and considerate to others

INVOLVED – actively engaged in our school

DEPENDABLE – present and prepared

EXCELLENT – working hard to reach their potential

We believe optimal student achievement (academic and behavioral) can be attained by utilizing a proactive systems approach for creating and maintaining a safe and effective learning environment.
