The NBC Information Technology Department pledges to provide students and staff with the resources needed to excel in today's technology driven, education landscape. We utilize tools like Office 365 Apps, Google Workspace, Canvas, and others to provide the best possible learning experience for all ages. We are 1 to 1; each student is provided a device to use as needed.

 

Devices are assigned as follows:

Grade Levels Device Provided
Grades K-5 Apple iPad (iPad OS)
Grades 6-10 Chrome Book (Chrome OS)
Grades 11-12 Laptop (Windows 11)

Tips - Support - Services

  • Keep software and apps updated.
  • Create complex, unique passwords for each account.
    • Use a password manager or keep them stored in a secure place.
  • Use multi-factor authentication whenever possible.
  • Beware of suspicious emails, texts, QR codes, and phone calls.
    • Always use a known-safe contact method to verify authenticity when in doubt.
    • Use the acronym S L A M – Sender, Links, Attachments and Message.
  • Do not leave your computer or device unattended or unlocked when not in use.
  • Use data storage resources properly and appropriately.
